What is Happiness?
Happiness does not depend on having more things, getting your own way or doing what you think it should. Happiness comes from knowing that while we cant make an unhappy person happy, we are constantly and inevitably affecting other peoples wellbeing. All our encounters with others lift their spirits or lower them. Taking this power seriously is a crucial way of growing into our highest potential. We need to shift our thinking from 'What will make me happy?' to 'How can I most positively affect the world around me?'. Being a source of happiness, support, interest, comfort and wellbeing for others will transform our own lives.

To me this saying makes sense, on the one hand we are human beings, having a spiritual experience or at least trying to. But I like to think that we are spiriual beings brought to earth to have a human experience. I look at the world around me and it is so beautiful, but listen to the news and its so crazy. People are going mad, saying crazy things, doing crazy things. What is real and what is not. I love life, I enjoy life, but sometimes the unhappiness and oppression of the human spirit is too much to handle. Stop the world, I want to get off. I never want to experience being a human being again. Can anyone relate to this

I can so relate, just read my blog about Chuckie Cheese. People are going crazy but we just need to keep being who we are and do what we do and hopefully inspire others to do the same along the way.

I've felt that way more times than I'd like to count! That bumper sticker makes so much sense, it's almost scary.

Personally, I think things are so crazy because the whole world is in a major state of flux right now. It's almost like Mother Earth said she's had enough of the mess and is fixing to re-arrange/clean the house or something. There is always chaos in the midst of order.
